Raw sunflower confection
Confectionery sunflower kernels are easily recognizable for the greater size and are derived from a low-oil type of sunflower seeds. The shape of confectionery grade kernels is flatter, thinner, and longer than typical bakery grade type. Their taste is mild and the color change after heat treatment is light brown.
With a much lower fat content, they are suitable for dietary purposes, healthy and nutritious.
